MODELING SEGREGATED INSITU COMBUSTION PROCESSES THROUGH A VERTICAL DISPLACEMENT MODEL APPLIED TO A COLOMBIAN FIELD

摘要: Recently it has been proposed the incorporation of horizontal well technologies in thermal EOR processes like situ combustion process (ISC). This taken to conception new recovery mechanisms named here as Segregated In-Situ Combustion which are conventional in-situ with a segregated flow component. Top/Down combustion, Override Splitproduction Horizontal-well and Toe-to-Heel Air Injection three these processes, incorporate producers gravity drainage phenomena. When applied thick reservoirs this nature could be reasonably modeled under concepts Crestal Gas Injection, especially for heavy oils mobile at reservoir conditions. A studied through an analytic model conceived particular conditions Castilla Field, homogeneous anticline structure containing high mobility oil seems excellent candidate application technologies.
