摘要: A novel approach to produce 2D designs by adapting the HyperNEAT algorithm evolve non-uniform rational basis splines (NURBS) is presented. This representation proposed as an alternative previous pixel-based approaches primarily motivated aesthetic interests, and not designed for optimization tasks. spline outperforms on target matching tasks, performing well even in irregular shapes. In addition improved evolvability face of a defined fitness metric, NURBS has added virtues being continuous rather than discrete, intuitive easily modified graphic industrial designers.
