A determination of the sensitivity of the dental pulp of primary maxillary anterior teeth to electrical stimuli in children with unilateral and bilateral clefts.

摘要: A study was conducted to determine differences in pulpal sensitivity of the maxillary primary anterior teeth groups children with unilateral clefts lip, alveolar process and palate, bilateral lip process, without clefts. Thirty-nine between ages 4 5 years a total 216 were tested using pulp tester. The results indicated that distal cleft site are unaffected demonstrate responses similar control group, while mesial affected significantly less response testing compared group. this important for clinician establishing proper diagnosis treatment plan determination vitality dental is diagnostic adjunct appropriate dentition. made based upon integration information derived from history, clinical radiographic examinations, special aids such as electric testing.
