摘要: We report a case of xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) with endothelial dysfunction where the analysis tears revealed elevated levels proinflammatory cytokines, even in absence active inflammation and neovascularisation ocular surface. Although role ultraviolet (UV) radiation-induced occurrence manifestations XP is known, little published on molecular mechanisms there are no reports quantifying presence inflammatory cytokines patients involvement XP. Tear demonstrated an increase chemokines, especially interleukin-8 (2.38 ng/µg), tumour necrosis factor alpha (0.87 ng/µg) granulocyte monocyte colony stimulating (0.44 ng/µg) as compared control eye. Effective management underlying UV-induced promoting DNA repair may play vital managing its sequelae
