摘要: Silver (Ag) complexes of drugs and their nanosystems have great potential as antibacterials. Recently, an Ag complex furosemide (Ag-FSE) has shown to be a promising antimicrobial. However, poor solubility Ag-FSE could hamper its introduction into clinics. Therefore, the authors developed nanosuspension (Ag-FSE_NS) for antibacterial activity enhancement. The aim this study was introduce novel nanoantibiotic with enhanced efficacy. Ag-FSE_NS prepared by precipitation-ultrasonication technique. Size, polydispersity index (PI) zeta (ZP) were measured dynamic light scattering, whereas surface morphology determined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). In vitro evaluated against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli Pseudomonas aeruginosa broth microdilution method. PI ZP optimised Ag-FSE_NS1 191.2 ± 19.34 nm, 0.465 ± 0.059 -55.7 ± 8.18 mV, respectively. SEM revealed that particles rod or needle-like smooth surfaces. Saturation in NS increased eight-fold than pure Ag-FSE. exhibited two-fold enhancements E. S. results obtained showed holds promise topical antibacterial.
