摘要: Abstract The objective of this study was to examine relationships between behaviors in three different standard tests temperament pigs, Sus scrofa. For the backtest, pigs (n = 575) were placed supine position for 60 s. Each pig tested twice. Amount time struggling and number struggle attempts during each test recorded combined give total attempts. Increased weakly associated with low preweaning average daily gain (r = −0.24; P 0.1). Pigs grouped based on did not differ consistently resident intruder or novel object trials. In conclusion, results present do support theory that backtest performance is indicative behavior a aggression (resident test) fear/curiosity response novelty (novel test).
