摘要: Abstract To investigate the rate and extent of heavy metal accumulation in a potential indicator species wolf spider, Pardosa astrigera (L. Koch) (Araneae: Lycosidae), adult spiders were exposed to three different metals by dietary uptake. The regularly fed with metal-coated fruit flies (20 mM CdCl 2 , 10 PbCl HgCl ; singly or altogether) up 8 weeks, contents individual analyzed. Accumulation pattern P. body was significantly different. Both Pb Hg reached saturation point (ca. 3-4 ug/spider) relatively short period exposure (two weeks). In contrast, Cd gradually increased 6 weeks then arrived at μg/spider). These findings indicate that spider is more selective compared Hg. Similar patterns also observed complex metals, where capacity for most significant. collected from down-stream area Sin-gil stream ca. 1.2 1.6 μg/spider, lower than level, but well reflecting contamination status area. confirmed histo-chemical staining QAI [2-(8-quinolylazo)-4, 5-diphenylimidazol], which vacuole-like complexes containing intensely stained hepatopancreatic tissue 20 -exposed spider. No mortality during time course development both nymphal sub-adult stages suppressed constant as judged reduced weight gain, suggestive its apparent sub-lethal effects.
