摘要: Based on 22 in-depth interviews and 14 months of participant observation, this article explores collective identity among Latina lesbians who participate in a social group herein referred to as Latinas Unidas. It addresses the layers belonging Unidas maintain according sexual morality. The author notes that sexually moral (lesbiana seria) which members adhere allows them resist dominant portrayals themselves hypersexual, promiscuous beings. Still, developing identity, create charmed circle around their distance away from other nonconforming women do not uphold values
