摘要: Abstract It is increasingly argued that preferences and values for complex goods such as ecosystem services are not pre-formed but need to be generated through a process of deliberation learning. While the number studies incorporating in monetary non-monetary valuation increasing, there limited theoretical basis how influenced shaped social processes. In this paper we present Deliberative Value Formation (DVF) model, new model deliberative informed by social-psychological theory. Anchored within broader framework around shared plural values, DVF identifies range potential positive (e.g. learning) negative desirability bias) outcomes key factors influence ability deliberate, institutional factors, power dynamics). also conceptualises may formed ‘translating’ transcendental our principles life goals, into more specific contextual values.
