摘要: Project controls have traditionally been focused on after-the-fact detection of variances. This thesis proposes a control system, the Last Planner that causes realization plans, and thus supplements project management’s concern for management contracts with production. The system has previously successfully applied by firms direct responsibility production management; e.g., specialty contractors. extends application to those coordinating specialists, both in design construction, through series case studies, one which also explores limits unilateral implementation specialists. In addition extended application, two questions drive this research. The first question is 1) What can be done way tools provided improved increase plan reliability above 70% PPC level? Previous research revealed substantial improvement productivity who level, consequently there reason hope further improvement, possibly all performance dimensions, especially across an entire rather than limited individual firms. That explored three last achieved 90% target. The second 2) How/Can during processes. extensive study, significantly contributes understanding process from perspective active control, but unfortunately does not fully answer question, primarily because was aborted prior start construction. However, it argued appropriate value-generating nature design, renders ineffective traditional techniques such as detailed front end planning variances. Issues future are proposed, including root cause analysis failures quantification benefits increased construction
