摘要: The Wandel Sea basin in eastern North Greenland is the least known of onshore depositional centers associated with formation Arctic and Atlantic oceans. Whereas main features Svalbard Sverdrup have been for many years, it has only recently possible to investigate any detail. In course recent investigations, concept a classic "bull9s eye" type accumulation become increasingly difficult maintain. This paper presents an alternative model involving complex series events overall change from elongate rift basins strike-slip-dominated structural belt. Individual this development provide evidence early steps extended processes leading up ocean formation.
