Progression of visual field defects in glaucoma. Relation to compliance with pilocarpine therapy.

摘要: • In patients with primary open-angle glaucoma, compliance pilocarpine therapy was studied an electronic medication monitor. The visual fields and intraocular pressure (IOP) readings were followed up retrospectively during two years before after the measurements. Progression of field defects significantly more common in capsular glaucoma than simple glaucoma. Eyes extensive showed progression often did eyes smaller defects, so a high mean IOP as compared those low IOP.
