摘要: The purpose of this investigation was to identify adaptations in satellite cell (SC) content and myonuclear domain (MND) after 6-week slow-speed vs. normal-speed resistance training programs. Thirty-four untrained females were divided into slow speed (SS), traditional strength (TS), muscular endurance (TE), nontraining control (C) groups. Three sets each leg press, squat, knee extension performed 2 days per week for the first 3 following 5 weeks. SS group 610 repetition maximum (610RM) set with 10-second concentric (con) 4-second eccentric (ecc) contractions repetition. Traditional TE 610RM 2030RM, respectively, at normal (12 seconds con ecc contractions). trained same intensity (4060% 1RM), whereas TS 8085% 1RM. Pretraining posttraining muscle biopsies analyzed fiber cross-sectional area, type, SC content, number, MND. Satellite type I, IIA, IIAX, IIX fibers significantly increased TS. However, only IIAX SS, there no change or C. Myonuclear number did not any group. TS, MND IIA In conclusion, more than a similar normal speed. high-intensity normal-speed produced greatest degree adaptation variable.
