Sintering dependent Ca2+ solubility in barium titanate synthesized by sol–gel auto combustion method

摘要: We report the preparation of ferroelectric Ba0.7Ca0.3TiO3 (BCT) ceramics by sol–gel auto combustion technique and its specific functional properties. The structural, dielectric properties BCT are strongly depending on sintering temperature which also improves phase purity crystalline quality system. formation single-phase is realized at 1450 °C for 4 h. suggesting solubility limit Ca2+ cation. Grain size relative density increased as increased. Rietveld refinement employed detailed crystal structural analysis. frequency dependent investigated; measured constant er = 2680 at transition Tc=120 °C single BCT. Sintering electrical poling improved shape hysteresis curve reduced leakage current. Electrical conduction mechanism discussed.
