摘要: The increase in bacterial and viral resistance to current therapeutics has led intensive research for new antibacterial antiviral agents. Among these, aminoglycosides their guanidino derivatives are potent candidates targeting specific RNA sequences. It is necessary that these substances can pass across mammalian membranes order reach intracellular targets. This study investigated the effects of kanamycin A neomycin B on mimetic using a quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM-D). Lipid bilayers as membrane models were deposited onto gold coated crystals added afterwards. Notably, exhibited an initial stiffening layer indicating quick insertion planar groups into membrane. also reached maximum binding at lower concentrations than native compounds. Therefore, modified promising agents development antimicrobial treatments.
