摘要: Environmental conditions, including ambient temperature, play important roles in survival, growth development, and reproduction of the Japanese sea cucumber, Apostichopus japonicus. Low temperatures result slowed skin ulceration disease. In a previous study, we investigated effect low temperature on gene expression profiles A. japonicus by suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH). Genes encoding Ferritin, Lysozyme, Hsp70, gp96, AjToll were selected from subtracted cDNA library under acute cold stress. The transcriptional these genes different tissues (coelomocyte, respiratory tree, intestine, longitudinal muscle) after exposure to mild dropping treatments. results show that (1) five cold-tolerance-related found all four highest mRNA levels observed coelomocyte tree; (2) treatments, three types regulation patterns observed: primary followed up-regulation at −2°C, suppressed throughout two more rarely an initial stimulation suppression; (3) was severe than treatment. distributed mainly generally down-regulated stress but inverse event extreme (−2°C).
