摘要: Osteoporosis is a common metabolic bone disease characterized by low mineral density (BMD) and microarchitectural deterioration of tissue, which leads to decreased strength increased fracture risk. mainly results from disruption the balance between formation mediated osteoblasts resorption osteoclasts. At present, molecular mechanisms underlying osteoporosis are still not fully understood. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) RNA molecules that exceed 200 nucleotides (nt) in length have limited or no protein-coding capacity. Over past decade, numerous lncRNAs been demonstrated participate multiple biological processes play essential roles pathogenesis various diseases. In this review, we summarize recent progress research on focus their regulatory osteogenesis osteoclastogenesis. Moreover, briefly discuss potential clinical applications osteoporosis.
