摘要: Abstract The photochemistry of four acid triphenylmethane dyes, viz. Acid Blue 1, Green 9, 15 and Violet 17, was studied in model systems dyed poly (vinyl alcohol), methylcellulose gelatin films, order to elucidate the complex photochemical reactions occurring a dyed-wool/water/air system upon exposure ultraviolet radiation. A variety chemicals that protein-bound ammo acids, sodium azide cadmium sulphate octdhydrate were added each dyedpolymer determine importance specific anticipated for dyed-wool substrate. comparison between dye spectra various solutions polymer substrates revealed triaminotriphenylmethane particular, show propensity aggregate. This particularly evident poly(vinyl alcohol) substrates; monomeric forms all dyes predominated. Dye fading appears be governed by (a) ability substrate, or residual solvent within donate electrons hydrogen atoms (b) degree aggregation, which may partially determined (c) chemical physical structure Two dissociative pathways proposed dimeric molecules protein substrates. For molecules, it found photosensitized components structure, particular guanidino group arginine carboxylate groups glutamic aspartic acids. In contrast, neither lysine, histidine nor excited singlet-state oxygen sensitize
