摘要: Publisher Summary The most significant functional characteristic of macrophages is phagocytosis. macrophage system involved in antibody formation, the inactivation bacterial endotoxins, resistance to traumatic and hemorrhagic shock, prevention irradiation sickness, hematoclasia bile pigment metabolism steroids, lipids, cholesterol, iron, proteins. This chapter discusses effects steroid hormones on activity. cyclic alterations levels hormones, which occur during reproductive cycle, are accompanied by phagocytic activity sinusoidal number free endometrium. During cycle there two peaks increased activity, one follicular phase other luteal phase, these a prolonged invasion into under influence pituitary follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) whereas luteinizing (LH).
