摘要: Endoxyloglucan transferase is a novel class of glycosyltransferase recently purified from Vigna angularis (Nishitani, K,, and Tominaga, R. (1992) J. Biol. Chem. 267, 21058-21064). This enzyme the first identified that catalyzes molecular grafting between polysaccharide cross-links in cell wall matrix participates reconstruction network structure wall. Based on NH2-terminal amino acid sequence information transferase, we have here cloned sequenced cDNAs derived five different plant species, V. angularis, Triticum aestivum, Arabidopsis thaliana, Lycopersicon esculentum, Glycine max. In mature proteins conserved range 71-90% throughout their length. The consensus for N-linked glycosylation, four cysteine residues are all species. Thus, endoxyloglucan protein ubiquitous among higher plants. highly DNA will serve as promising tool exploring process by which construction, hence growth, regulated.
