摘要: In the nowadays highly pressurized marine environment, a science-based approach to management becomes increasingly important. many cases, sediment nature and processes are key understanding of ecosystem, can explain particularly presence soft-substrata habitats. For predictions occurrence species habitats, detailed sedimentological information is required. This paper presents methodology create high quality data grids grain-size fractions percentage silt-clay. Based on multibeam bathymetry terrain model, multiple sources secondary (multi-scale variables) were derived. Through use geostatistical technique, Kriging with an external drift (KED), this was used assist in interpolation data. comparison purposes, more commonly Ordinary technique also applied. Validation indices indicated that KED gave better results for all maps.
