摘要: Real-time streaming of audiovisual content over the Internet is emerging as an important technology area in multimedia communications. Due to wide variation available bandwidth sessions, there a need for scalable video coding methods and (corresponding) flexible approaches that are capable adapting changing network conditions real time. In this paper, we describe new video-coding framework has been adopted recently by MPEG-4 standard. This approach, which known Fine-Granular-Scalability (FGS), consists rich set tools support quality (i.e., SNR), temporal, hybrid temporal-SNR scalabilities. Moreover, one desired features MPEG-J FGS method its simplicity flexibility supporting unicast multicast applications IF.
