摘要: Abstract Post-dural puncture headache (PDPHA) has been a vexing problem for patients undergoing dural spinal anaesthesia, as complication of epidural and after diagnostic lumbar since Bier reported the first case in 1898. This Chapter discusses pathophysiology low-pressure resulting from leakage cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) subarachnoid to spaces. Clinical laboratory research over last 30 years shown that use small-gauge needles, particularly pencil-point design, is associated with lower risk PDPHA than traditional cutting point needle tips (Quincke-point needles). A careful history can rule out other causes headache. positional component sine qua non PDPHA. In high-risk (e.g. age
