摘要: Oily wastewater poses significant threats to the soil, water, air and human beings because of hazardous nature its oil contents. The objective this review paper is highlight current recently developed methods for oily treatment through which contaminants such as oil, fats, grease, inorganics can be removed safe applications. These include electrochemical treatment, membrane filtration, biological hybrid technologies, use biosurfactants, via vacuum ultraviolet radiation, destabilization emulsions zeolites other natural minerals. This encompasses innovative novel approaches provides scientific background future work that will aimed at reducing adverse impact discharge into environment. challenges affecting optimal performance opportunities research development in field are also discussed.
