Joint downlink power control and channel allocation based on a partial view of future channel conditions

摘要: We propose two downlink scheduling algorithms that take advantage of partial information on future channel conditions for improving the sum utility. The model allows both power control and allocation. objective scheduler is long-term utility under an average constraint. incorporate predictions in their decisions. STO1 algorithm computes decision each slot based means gains. Depending horizon considered, this can require solving a large-dimensional problem slot. STO2 reduces dimensionality by operating time-scales. On slower scale it estimation over larger horizon, faster slot, shorter horizon. Numerical experiments with fixed number users as well dynamic show provide gains compared to agnostic ones.
