摘要: ABSTRACT Thymine dimers formed in DNA by UV irradiation can be split at 300 nm the presence of photosensitizers containing an indole ring : serotonin and 5-methoxytryptamine, oligopeptide a tryptophyl residue (Lys-Trp-Lys), protein which exhibits specificity for single stranded nucleic acids (protein coded gene 32 phage T4). The mechanism this photosensitized reaction has been investigated using different methods fluorescence spectroscopy room low temperature, flash photolysis, effect electron scavengers, ionic strength dependence. In order to act as photosensitizer, indole-containing compound must bound irradiated stacked with acid bases thymine dimers. Dissociation complex inhibits reaction. splitting arises consequence transfer from excited dimer. all cases, regenerates intact bases.
