摘要: The biological synthesis of the mixed-valence iron oxide magnetite (Fe3O4) poses several fascinating and intriguing questions for solid state materials scientist. Preparation in laboratory requires an experimental regime which often includes high temperature, pressure, pH. A further aspect inorganic is difficulty involved preparation particles homogeneous shape size. Biological reactions, however, are characterized by their selectivity precision functional design. In this way biosolid-state reactions can arise establish formation under conditions ambient temperature pressure at pH values close to neutral. Furthermore, precise control over activation regulation solid-state processes result well-defined size crystallographic morphology. These aspects chemical, stereo, specificity important criteria need be investigated elucidated, as knowledge concerning such novel may development design new technological use.
