摘要: Abstract Experimental measurements of the adiabatic burning velocity in ethane–oxygen–nitrogen and ethane–oxygen–argon mixtures are presented. Non-stretched flames were stabilized on a perforated plate burner at 1 atm. Dilution ratio O 2 /(O +N ) was varied from 15% to 21%; dilution ratios +Ar) 16%. A heat flux method used determine velocities under conditions when net loss flame is zero. An overall accuracy estimated be better than ±0.8 cm/s. results good agreement with recent literature data for ethane–air mixtures. New diluted extend basis validation detailed reaction schemes. Predictions chemical mechanism developed this laboratory agree well measurements. The influence inert diluent discussed.
