During operation, the receives an input video stream from graphics source, wherein comprises sequence of frames. Next, directs through set two or more memory buffers including front buffer and back to produce output stream, which is used drive display. While directing buffers, writes frame into buffer, concurrently drives preceding buffer. When writing completes, switches so becomes either spare subsequent stream.
