摘要: An eyepiece for a HMD includes waveguide, an ambient light polarizer, and wire grid polarizer with diffraction lens having function patterned into the polarizer. Polarized image is guided between eye-ward sides of waveguide from display source to viewing region where polarized directed out through side. The passes incident on side disposed adjacent polarize second polarization orthogonal first polarization. along region. oriented applying via diffraction.
