摘要: A study was conducted to evaluate the early results of high-dose-rate superficial brachytherapy (HDR-SB) after keloidectomy. Between April 2008 and 2009, 21 patients with 36 histologically confirmed keloids were treated postoperative HDR-SB. The tube applicator placed on skin match area surgical wound, a spacer 5 mm thick between applicator. dose evaluation point established below 2 from surface, 20 Gy delivered in 4 daily fractions keloidectomy scars anterior chest wall, scapular region, lower jaw suprapubic region. 15 3 lesions other areas. median follow-up period 18 months (range, 9 29 months). Therapeutic outcome judged terms recurrence, control, or acute side effects. Three (9.7%) two showed local time failure HDR-SB 12 months. All recurrences affected wall. Dysraphia occurred only one patient an wall lesion. Excluding cases acceptable cosmetic achieved. Our indicate that is effective safe for preventing recurrence keloids.
