摘要: Abstract The detection and localization of improvised explosive devices(IEDs) on the roadside is a new subject encountered in struggle against terrorism. A novel method was proposed for IEDs based magnetic signals. Since most have ferromagnetic properties, field produced around body by IED can be detected 3-axis fluxgate sensor array system. With these data, computed an appropriate dipole model nonlinear optimization algorithm. This paper studied respectively properties explosives roads as target environment to detected. First, gradient total directly reconstructed from data array. In order reduce effects Earth’s field, contraction used detect IEDs. Second, moment parameters were searched rough adopting particle swarm (PSO) algorithm precision ones found using steepest descent method. Simulation results show that mentioned achieves good effects, maximum range reach 12 m 15 Am 2 mean errors estimation are less than 0.16 1 Am respectively. need not know IED’s advance, it adapt battlefield environment. addition, this applied solve problem detecting localizing underwater
