摘要: Influence of catchment processes on fluvial morphology and river habitats Fluvial is conditioned by three basic elements: flow regime, sediment yield valley characteristics. These elements are controlled factors operating at different spatial time scales, within outside the basin. Moreover, great influence human activities has to be considered as they presently constitute one main hydromorphological factors. This paper synthesises effects variables structures review around mentioned above with examples from Iberian Peninsula rivers. Understanding that affect channel primary importance for assessing habitat condition, considering reach characteristics result interaction between upstream downstream local conditions. Finally, geomorphology a key element in ecosystems creates geodiversity heterogeneity forms scales (i.e., habitats) should part our natural heritage valuable itself.
