摘要: A new mixing length adapted to the constraints of grey zone turbulence for neutral and convective boundary layers is proposed. It combines a mesoscale simulations, where fully subgrid Large-Eddy Simulations, coarsest turbulent eddies are explicitly resolved. The built isotropic schemes, as well schemes using horizontal homogeneity assumption. This tested over three layer cases: free case, case cold air outbreak case. later from thermal dynamical origins presence clouds. With this length, scheme produces right proportion between resolved exchanges in Large Eddy at mesoscale. opens way single whatever grid mesh atmospheric model, evolution stage or depth layer.
