摘要: Objectives: The purpose of this prospective clinical cohort study was to determine the success rate 3- 5-unit posterior fixed partial dentures (FPDs) with zirconia frameworks after 3 years function. Method and Materials: Forty-five patients in need at least 1 FPD replace teeth were included. produced by means a prototype computer-assisted manufacture system. They milled precisely calculated increase size out presintered blanks subsequently shrunk required size. Fifty-seven FPDs cemented using either Variolink or Panavia TC cement. Clinical radiographic examinations performed baseline, 12, 24, 36 months cementation. Statistical analysis descriptive statistics Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Comparisons probing depth, Plaque Index, bleeding on between test (abutment) control (contralateral) done McNemar test. Results: Thirty-six 46 available for examination months. No fractures occurred, rendering 100% frameworks. Seven had be replacetl because biologic technical problems. rate, therefore, 84.8%. Secondary caries found 10.9% FPDs, chipping veneering ceramic 13.0%. There no significant differences regarding depth teeth. Conclusion: Zirconia demonstrated sufficient stability replacement However, high rates problems should reduced further developments processing technology.
