Analysis and implementation of a three-level hybrid dc–dc converter with the balanced capacitor voltages

摘要: In this study, a three-level hybrid dc/dc converter by integrating the full-bridge circuit, resonant circuit and flying capacitor is presented to achieve main advantages of low-voltage stress power devices, low circulating loss, ringing on rectifier diodes low-output filter inductor for medium-voltage dc-based systems. Two circuits are connected in series effectively reduce voltage switches. Half-bridge shared lagging-leg switches used operated at fixed switching frequency extend zero-voltage (ZVS) range from load full load. Thus, drawback narrow ZVS conventional improved. A adopted automatically balance input split voltages each cycle without any additional active components or complexity control scheme. The loss reduced zero parallel connection outputs half-bridge circuits. Finally, theoretical analysis performance proposed verified experiments with 1.92 kW prototype circuit.
