摘要: Age differences were examined in affective processing, the context of a visual search task. Young and older adults faster to detect high arousal images compared with low neutral items. Younger positive targets other categories. In contrast, exhibited an overall detection advantage for emotional images. Together, these findings suggest that do not display valence-based effects on processing at relatively automatic stages.
