摘要: Abstract The sequential development of Type I and II ostertagiasis over a 2-year period in the same naturally infected cattle is described for first time. Particular reference made to biochemical serological changes. Positive relationships were demonstrated between clinical signs both disease, marked increases levels plasma pepsinogen, gastrin antibody titres adult Ostertagia antigen. At necropsy, there significant combined total developing 5th stage larvae spp. pepsinogen gastrin. By end second grazing season had acquired an immunity infection with very low burdens this parasite at necropsy. However some these maintained elevated when under natural challenge by aetiology changes problems diagnosis using parameter are discussed. Similar trends observed Cooperia oncophora, although resistance developed more rapidly.
