摘要: Albanian electric power generation has been almost totally dependent on hydropower since its system inception. Within the past decade, although modest, there some share of produced from Renewable Energy Sources (RES), mostly Solar Power Plants. Going forward, government promoted renewable energy as an important part mix and is planning to increase injected RES composed hydro, Photovoltaic (PV) Wind. Among these, wind one most promising sources. This paper gives overview studies performed regarding System Frequency Response (SFR) by replacing hydro inertia with non-synchronous generation. A study frequency behavior under several penetration levels presented cases which show how affected when hydro-power turbine converter
