摘要: Functional food products should provide scientifically proven beneficial effects in healthy subjects. The highly sensitive method of EEG recording from human volunteers was used a randomized, placebo controlled crossover study to investigate the change physiological parameters after ingestion total 750 ml softdrink containing 0.232 g ginseng and 2 ginkgo extract, both produced by water extraction. Application random, design done with 10 male volunteers. recordings were performed 1, 2, 3 4 h under conditions min eyes open, 5 closed reading short stories. Auditory P300 potentials recorded every hour addition recordings. Source density analysis data revealed an attenuation circadian induced electrical delta power decreases condition open centro-parieto-occipital electrode positions. During test even absolute increases observed at these sites. These changes statistically significant p < 2% for second (eyes reading) are interpreted indicate higher degree emotional well-being. Decreases latency (from 333.9 321.3 ms) as well amplitude 2.07 3.95 microV) auditory potential position Pz point possible improvement attention, however, difference did not reach statistical significance.
