摘要: As evidenced by the articles in this Special Issue, advent of digital image correlation (DIC) and related methods for accurate, full-field deformation mappings has reverberated throughout world experimental mechanics altered forever way which measurements are made analyses performed. No longer investigators limited to average or point-wise on general structures smaller components. Instead, a new vista opportunities specimen design is opening.
