Acibenzolar-S-methyl induced resistance to Phytophthora capsici in pepper leaves

摘要: The leaves of pepper (Capsicum anuum L.) were inoculated with Phytophthora capsici Leonian 3 d after treatment acibenzolar-S-methylbenzo [1,2,3]thiadiazole-7-carbothioic acid-S-methyl ester (ASM) and resistance to blight disease was investigated. Results showed that P. significantly inhibited by ASM up 45 % in planta. plants responded treatments rapid transient induction L-phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL), increase total phenol content activities chitinase β-1,3-glucanase. No significant increases enzyme observed water-treated control compared the ASM-treated plants. Therefore it may be suggested induces defense-related enzymes, PAL activity, PR proteins accumulation contribute enhance against capsici.
