摘要: Poor performance on the Useful Field of View (UFOV® test) has been linked to negative driving outcomes, such as crashes. The UFOV® test was given a sample drivers 75+ years across state Alabama (N=2235) means attaining reduction in insurance rates if successful test. Results revealed that retrospectively, participants who failed assessment were 1.65 times more likely have an at-fault crash and 1.66 claim previous five compared passed assessment. Prospectively, these same 1.85 2.73 subsequent 1.29 after To authors’ knowledge, this is first translational study investigate impact offering discount for passing prospective crashes claims.
