摘要: Effects of long-term dietary restriction on body temperature and its circadian changes were investigated in 3.5- 14.5-month-old male Long-Evans rats. Animals either fed libitum or kept a restricted diet for 8 weeks. Purina Lab Chow was constantly available to the ad libitum-fed groups, while half portions their daily food consumption given age-matched diet-restricted groups every day. A highly significant lowering middle-aged (MR) rats not observed until intake had been 5 weeks compared with that (MA) group as well young (YR) Eight after restriction, both pattern diurnal peak-trough difference remained almost unchanged all four average MR greatly lower than YR MA animals. No found between (YA) group. These data suggest rats, at least before age 14.5 months, is age-related, effect may be modified increasing age.
