摘要: We evaluated the outcome of seven severe hemophilic patients who underwent four total hip and knee arthroplasties since 1976. These have been followed at regular intervals over a period 2.5-9.5 years (mean 5.8). Of replacements, one had to be removed because loosening secondary infection 3 after initial surgery but was salvaged by pseudoarthrosis; other three are pain-free radiologically stable an excellent range motion 2.5, 5, 7 postoperatively. successfully arthrodesis; patient has loose components, prosthesis is still functional; final with bilateral prostheses limited functional motion.
