摘要: Abstract Three NIH3T3 transformants, MTAg, MTPy, and MT1, which grow similarly in soft agar media, showed remarkable differences athymic mice: MTAg grew more rapidly than whereas MT1 did not, only metastasized lung. Structural analysis of N-glycans from plasma membrane glycoproteins revealed that each sample contains similar amounts N-glycans, but the relative 2,6-branched tri- tetra-antennary oligosaccharides prominently increase biantennary decrease order NIH3T3, those others remained constant. Western blot binding Datura stramonium agglutinin, interacts with oligosaccharides, is significantly increased several bands compared two are tentatively identified as lysosome-associated protein-1 fibronectin (FN)-receptor. It was also shown spreading on FN-coated plates dramatically inhibited anti-FN-receptor antiserum when NIH3T3. These results indicate expression highly branched at cell surface correlated rapidness tumor formation altered adhesive properties cells vivo.
