摘要: This thesis proposes an optimal-control based design for distributed frequency control in multi-terminal high voltage direct current (MTDC) systems. The power grid has become overstressed by rapid growth the demand electric and penetration of renewable energy. To address these challenges, MTDC technology been developed, which potential to increase flexibility reliability transmission grid. Several strategies have proposed regulate system its interaction with connected AC However, all existing are on proportional integral (PI) predetermined controller structures. objective is first determine if structures optimal, improved can be developed.The a general framework optimal structure through feedback control. method validated demonstrated using example connecting five areas.
