摘要: The death of a pet is universal experience for those who share their lives with animals. In parallel rising interest in palliative medicine, hospice care and advance-care planning within human increasing attention currently being given to serious illness veterinary medicine. Our ability prolong life has created the need thoughtful end discourse. Interest companion animals on rise, yet there been limited scholarly research these areas date. This review concludes that hindered by an inadequate amount guide clinicians. Given lack prospective studies date, significant opportunity exists teaching institutions contribute literature important growing field.
