摘要: Abstract Soil disturbances by large animals are known to affect soil carbon (C) storage and thus have the potential change ecosystem functioning in forests. However, little is about effects of wild boar grubbing on CO2 emission forest ecosystems. Here we investigated respiration physico-chemical properties top- (0–10 cm) sub-soil (10–20 cm) paired grubbed non-grubbed plots an oak for a 2-year period. Wild substantially increased 69.5% 2015 32.9% 2016, respectively. disturbance considerably elevated basal but showed no effect its temperature sensitivity. In addition, found that grubbing-induced increases organic microbial biomass activity from both contributed stimulated after disturbance. Our experiment indicates bioturbation could lead strong positive ecosystems, stimulation tends reduce with recovery time. The finding also highlights importance depth time while quantifying C
