摘要: Reversed-phase partition chromatography is shown to be a convenient and effective method for the quantitative recovery of microgram gram quantities uranium from highly impure solutions unknown composition. The obtained in form suitable determination by volumetric, colorimetric, or alpha -counting technique. Uranium retained column Kel-F supporting tri-n-butyl phosphate. Impurities are eluted with 5.5M nitric acid, water. Thorium(IV), plutonium (IV), cerium(IV) intenfere, but interference cerium can avoided reduction cerium(III) prior separation. Recovery better than 99%. adapted separation plutonium. (auth)
